About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Video Editor to join our fast-growing team at Skillinabox.

In this role, you’ll be the bridge between creativity and storytelling editing, refining, and optimizing video content that doesn’t just get views, but resonates with the audience.

You’ll collaborate with our content, design, and marketing teams to bring powerful ideas to life across multiple platforms.

If you love turning raw footage into compelling visual stories, experimenting with editing styles, and seeing real audience engagement this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for social media, ads, YouTube, reels, and brand campaigns.
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other tools for professional editing.
• Ensure strong storytelling through cuts, pacing, timing, transitions, and visual flow.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, subtitles, and effects.
• Handle audio editing, synchronization, and enhancement.
• Optimize videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, revisions, and deadlines.
• Stay updated with current trends, tools, and editing styles.
• Collaborate with content, design, and strategy teams.

Who We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of video editing experience, or a strong portfolio showcasing editing, storytelling, and post-production skills.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Strong understanding of cuts, pacing, storytelling, and transitions
• Audio editing and synchronization
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Problem-solving
• Communication and teamwork
• A team player with a “let’s make it happen” attitude ready to experiment, iterate, and grow 100x with us.

Compensation & Benefits

• Current Compensation – ESOPs (Stock Options) + 3 LPA – 4 LPA (Fixed)
• Fast appraisal cycle (6–10 months)
• Opportunity to own a part of the firm through ESOPs
