VidUnit Media is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to repurpose and edit licensed or acquired video content for our YouTube channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of YouTube formatting, pacing, and storytelling to transform raw or pre-existing footage into engaging, compliant, and high-performing videos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and reformat acquired/licensed video content into engaging YouTube-ready videos.
• Ensure all edits comply with content usage rights, copyright, and platform policies.
• Enhance content with smooth transitions, text overlays, intros/outros, background music, and relevant graphics.
• Optimize videos for YouTube standards including pacing, aspect ratio, retention strategies, and metadata alignment.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure videos meet channel goals and branding guidelines.
• Organize and manage media assets efficiently to maintain a consistent workflow.
• Stay current with YouTube editing styles, content trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Proven experience editing video content for YouTube or digital platforms.
• Understanding of copyright, fair use, and content licensing principles.
