Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Resident Engineer with strong expertise in VMware technologies to manage, optimize, and support enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in virtualization, automation, and incident management, along with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)
• Perform lifecycle management, performance tuning, and capacity planning
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure high availability
• Automate tasks using PowerCLI, PowerShell, or Python
• Follow DevOps practices and ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Ensure system security, resiliency, and compliance

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in VMware (vSphere, vCenter)
• Hands-on scripting/automation (PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python)
• Good understanding of DevOps and ITIL processes
• Knowledge of system security and infrastructure best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
