Art Direction & Graphic Design Internship

ART DIRECTION & GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN — FALL 2025

Location: Hybrid (Brooklyn Studio + Remote)

Part-Time | Stipend and/or School Credit

Bernard James Fine Jewelry is seeking a hands-on, highly creative intern to support our visual storytelling and brand presentation across multiple touchpoints. This role is ideal for a design-forward thinker who thrives on developing unique concepts and executing high-quality visuals across digital and physical formats.

About the Role

As our Graphic Design & Art Direction Intern, you’ll work closely with the Brand Director and creative team on everything from product imagery to brand decks. You'll help shape the visual language of the brand across web, social, and print, and assist in building compelling content that reflects the individuality, craftsmanship, and legacy at the heart of Bernard James.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with art direction and execution of product imagery
• Create and resize graphics for the website, newsletters, and social media
• Edit and assemble video content for Instagram Reels and other platforms
• Design decks for internal and external presentations (including campaigns, wholesale, partnerships, etc.)
• Develop assets for in-store and promotional use (cards, flyers, tote bags, etc.)
• Contribute to visual storytelling across our social channels
• Conceptualize and pitch new, out-of-the-box creative ideas that align with the brand’s core values

Who You Are

• A design student or recent grad with strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere or Final Cut), Figma and/or Canva
• Highly collaborative, visually driven, and detail-oriented
• Able to multitask and manage your time efficiently across projects
• Passionate about luxury, fashion, and brand storytelling
• Familiar with Bernard James’ aesthetic and committed to upholding and evolving it through thoughtful design
• Bonus: photography, animation, or motion graphics experience

Schedule & Compensation

This is a part-time internship running through Fall 2025. The role is hybrid (remote with in-studio work in Brooklyn), and offers a monthly stipend and/or school credit.
