Who your are:
This role is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the design team, driving project strategy, ensuring design quality, and managing client relationships across multiple corporate interior projects. This role combines creative leadership with strong execution understanding and people management.
You will act as the design authority for projects, ensuring that creative intent is successfully translated into buildable, high-quality workspaces delivered on time.
The role includes:
1. Team Leadership & Management:
· Lead, mentor, and manage multi-disciplinary design teams.
· Build strong collaboration across design, project management, and site teams.
· Drive performance, accountability, and skill development within the team
2. Project Strategy & Design Direction
· Define project-wise design strategy aligned with client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
· Guide concept development, space planning, and design detailing.
· Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with execution requirements
3. Project Tracking & Performance Monitoring
· Track progress of design deliverables across all projects.
· Review schedules, milestones, and workload allocation.
· Ensure timely completion of design stages to support site execution.
4. Client Management & Engagement
· Lead client interactions for design presentations, reviews, and key decisions.
· Build strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction through proactive communication.
· Manage design-related client expectations and changes effectively.
5. Decision-Making & Escalation Handling
· Take timely decisions on design, materials, and execution-related challenges.
· Act as escalation point for complex design or coordination issues.
· Balance creativity, cost, timelines, and constructability while making decisions.
6. Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
· Provide hands-on support in resolving design, coordination, and site challenges.
· Support project and site teams during critical phases of execution.
· Drive quick solutions to prevent project delays or quality issues.
7. Materials Research & Innovation
· Explore new materials, finishes, technologies, and sustainable solutions.
· Work with vendors and suppliers to evaluate new products.
· Encourage innovation to improve quality, efficiency, and client value.
Required Skills & Competencies
· Experience in Corporate / commercial interior design
· Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
· Excellent design sensibility and deep understanding of corporate interiors.
· Strong space planning, detailing, and execution knowledge.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
· Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Knowledge of MEP coordination and integrated design processes.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and MS Office.
· Individuals are expected to keep up to date with new trends and products by attending trade fairs and exhibitions.

Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate/commercial interior design.
At least 5–7 years in a leadership role managing teams and large project
