5-9 years of experience in handling mission critical large databases in High Availability HADR setup

Good exposure to Cloud technology platforms and databases like DB2 and PostgreSQL Support to mission critical E-commerce, ERP applications, DB2DBA Support for Linux/AIX Ensure integrity availability and performance of DB2 database systems by providing technical support and maintenance

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Working with NoSQL PostgreSQL database platforms

Automate DBA tasks perform regular health checks and performance tuning Perform database enhancement and modification as per the requirements

Monitor databases regularly to check for any errors such as existing locks and failed updates Experience in AWS cloud platform

Job Description

Monitoring administrating DB2 PostgreSQL instances in production test and development environments Should have experience of DB2 Installation Configuration

Experience in handling Linux/AIX environment databases

Should have experience with various types of DB2 Backups Restoration Restoration using redirect Ability to craft and alter of DB2 object according to requirement Ex Database Table space Table Index etc

Experience of DMSSMS Tablespace Management Active Archival log management Hands on experience on IBM TSA based cluster and DB2 HADR

DB2 and PostgreSQL Upgradation and migration experience

Experience in handling PostgreSQL and DB2 in cloud technology Experience managing databases on Cloud platforms GCP and AWS Ec2

Responsible for working with a team of database administrators who will work to deploy support and continuously improve mission-critical database systems and their operations

Should be self-motivated and passionate about cloud infrastructure and automation within the database context

Should be experienced in handling stringent SLA in database management

Good knowledge of database designing and data normalization

Ability to detect and troubleshoot database related CPU memory IO disk space and other resource contention issues

Expertise in writing SQL queries analyzing query performance using query plans and tuning query performance

Backups restores and recovery models

Advance knowledge of indexes index management and statistics
