Job Description Key Responsibilities: Lead Product & Valuation Control for Global Banking and IFRS impairment. Oversee daily P&L and balance sheet controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage revenue recognition under IFRS9/15 and regulatory requirements.
Supervise Independent Price Verification (IPV) for loans and equities. Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders across front office, risk, and treasury. Lead projects, process improvements, and audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Mentor and develop high-performing control teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. The Successful Applicant A successful Director - Global Banking, IFRS Impairment Product & Valuation Control should have: 13+ years in Product Control, Valuation Control, or Financial Control within banking or financial services. Strong hands-on expertise in IFRS impairment, IPV, P&L/BS control, and revenue recognition.
Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery experience. Professional certifications preferred: CPA, CFA, ACA/CA, ACCA.
