Job Description

Enhance transportation safety as a Regulatory Compliance Officer. Utilize your expertise in environmental management and TDG regulations to ensure safe compliance in a busy office setting. This full-time role operates within Alberta EDGE, responsible for managing 24-hour compliance operations.

You will deliver accurate information on Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) legislation and oversee environmental incident reporting for Alberta Environment. Collaborate closely with DG Inspectors, enforcement agencies, and the public to handle emergency calls and incident logging. Key Responsibilities: • Provide information on TDG legislation to stakeholders • Respond to emergency calls and incidents • Log complaints and direct them to relevant departments • Maintain digital databases for Dangerous Goods • Conduct research and prepare compliance bulletins Requirements: • University degree in physical sciences or equivalent • Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental management • Strong knowledge of TDG regulations • Alberta Class 5 driver’s license preferred • Excellent communication and analytical skills Leverage your expertise in environmental compliance to enhance safety protocols across various transportation contexts effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
