Environmental Health and Safety Officer

Drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives as a Technical Officer. This role involves compliance monitoring and program management to enhance workplace safety and environment across various locations. As a key part of the Health, Safety and Environment Branch, you will implement major operational initiatives and processes.

You will work collaboratively with researchers, engineers, and managers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Strong analytical and communication skills are vital to articulate program requirements and enhance stakeholder satisfaction effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor compliance with health, safety regulations • Manage and develop HSE programs • Analyze program effectiveness and impacts • Oversee project lifecycle and coordinate with teams • Provide technical guidance in working groups Requirements: • University degree in Science or Engineering • Significant experience in HSE compliance • Experience in project management and coordination • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups • Bilingual in English and French (CBC/CBC) Leverage your expertise to enhance health and safety measures while ensuring compliance across various federal operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
