Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of current fashion trends, a strong sense of aesthetics, and extensive knowledge of fabrics and garment construction. You will play a key role in conceptualizing and designing collections that align with our brand’s vision and appeal to our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research global fashion trends, emerging styles, and consumer preferences in the fashion market
• Develop seasonal collections from concept to final product, including sketches, tech packs, and fabric selections
• Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials based on quality, feel, and trend relevance
• Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and execution
• Create mood boards and presentations to communicate design direction and inspiration
• Participate in fittings, providing input on design adjustments, and ensuring quality standards

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design is a must
• 2+ years of experience as a fashion designer
• Strong knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and fabric properties
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW software
• Excellent sketching and design presentation skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Highly creative with a keen eye for detail and style

Preferred:

• Experience working with a contemporary or emerging fashion brand
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices
