Job Description

FINANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 base | Full-Time | Hybrid | U.S. Operations

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

This is a newly created, high-impact finance leadership role for someone who wants to help build, shape, and scale U.S. operations inside a growing international organization.

Our client recently established a U.S. presence and is investing heavily in the right leadership talent. This role sits at the intersection of FP&A, operational finance, and strategic business partnership, offering real influence over decision-making—not just reporting.

Why high-level finance professionals are excited about this opportunity:

  • Greenfield leadership role – Newly created position with the ability to define processes and standards
  • Strategic visibility – Direct partnership with operations, plant leaders, supply chain, and sales
  • Broad scope – FP&A, plant controlling, margin analysis, inventory, ROI, and performance analytics
  • Business-facing finance seat – Trusted advisor, not a back-office function
  • Multi-site exposure – Operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with real operational complexity
  • Leadership responsibility – Supervisory component with room to build a team over time
  • Career runway – Ideal platform for long-term progression as U.S. operations continue to grow

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who enjoys owning financial outcomes, influencing leaders, and driving performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead FP&A activities including annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Prepare monthly financial performance analysis, KPIs, and variance explanations
  • Partner with plant and operations leadership on cost accounting, inventory, and production variances
  • Drive margin, profitability, and ROI analysis across products and operations
  • Support month-end close, compliance, and finance process improvements
Qualifications:
  • 6–10+ years of experience in operational finance, FP&A, plant controlling, or commercial finance
  • Manufacturing or capital-intensive industry experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence operational and sales leaders
