We’re looking for a Graphic Designer / Art Director to join us full-time at our new Adelaide office on Leigh St. You'll be a founding member of the new Adelaide office, working collaboratively with the Sydney office.

Born is a full-service creative agency. We believe brands are the great storytellers of our time and that every part of a brand tells a story. In short, we build brands and campaigns for those brands. And campaigns for brands that already exist. We're Australia's Emerging Agency of the Year in 2024, and we've been shortlisted again for 2025.

You’ll be working on a range of clients from a nationwide bank, to Australia’s biggest holiday parks provider, to Australia's oldest bookstore, Australia's most popular frozen yogurt store and more. The type of work you’ll be creating ranges from web design, print design, social media assets, digital banners, campaign assets, OOH, slide presentations etc.

Your role will be working closely with our Creative Director, who is opening the Adelaide office. This is an exciting opportunity for a hungry and ambitious designer / art director to join one of Australia's most exciting agencies, now in Adelaide.

Technical skills

• Design or Advertising agency experience with at least 1 year under your belt.
• AWARD school is an added bonus.
• A range of experience in your portfolio from branding, digital assets, websites, print, with a love for advertising.
• Proficiency in design software: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and familiarity with web design tools like Figma.
• UX/UI Design Understanding: Basic knowledge of user experience and user interface design principles for digital projects.
• Typography and colour theory: Excellent grasp of typography, colour theory, and composition.
• Excellent knowledge of best practices for Print and Digital design.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous about the finer points of design and quality.
• Up-to-date with the latest AI tools to speed up processes.
• Amazing personable skills, the ability to present and sell work to clients with confidence.
• Project Management: Ability to manage your own time adhering to deadlines and budgets.
• Hungry to learn, win awards and do excellent work. We’ll give you the platform to go get them.
