Health And Safety Manager

Overview Humans of HR is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in Greater Vancouver to hire an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across two operating facilities. This is a leadership role responsible for maintaining and strengthening an already established safety program. The organization has an active Health & Safety Committee and dedicated safety administrators at both locations.

The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, and continue building a strong culture of workplace safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on safety leader who thrives in operational environments and values building sustainable, practical safety systems. Key Responsibilities Lead Health & Safety programs across two facilities Partner with the Plant Manager and operational leaders to drive safety initiatives Chair and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee (monthly meetings) Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and applicable standards Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions Analyze safety metrics and identify trends for continuous improvement Support training, education, and awareness initiatives across shifts Travel between local sites as required What We’re Looking For 5+ years of progressive Health & Safety leadership experience Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations Proven ability to work collaboratively with operations and shop-floor teams Experience managing safety programs across multiple sites is an asset Strong communication and leadership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
