Job Description

Elevate workplace safety in the Health and Safety Coordinator role. Focus on implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance, and conducting essential training programs for various sites. This position requires a detail-oriented professional to ensure safety protocols adhere to regulations and improve worksite conditions.

You'll coordinate programs, conduct audits, assist with drills, and manage training records for staff. Collaborating with the Joint Health & Safety Committee, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Lead all health and safety audits and inspections • Coordinate development of compliance programs and reporting • Conduct fire drills and follow up on inspections • Manage incident reporting and safety training records • Facilitate health safety orientations for new hires Requirements: • College diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field • Knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety legislation • Experience in safety initiative implementation • Strong communication and relationship management skills • Valid G Class Driver’s License required Drive safety advancements while fostering a compliant workplace culture with clear procedures and training efforts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
