Health and Safety Program Manager

Oversee health and safety initiatives as a dedicated Health & Safety Officer. Ensure compliance, implement training plans, and drive improvements within a progressive electric utility environment. This role requires a proactive leader to manage health and safety programs in compliance with legislative standards.

You will assess training needs, organize audits, and perform field inspections to monitor adherence to health and safety requirements. Engage with contractors for compliance and incident management while generating key communications to foster a culture of safety. Key Responsibilities: • Implement health and safety policies and programs • Assess training needs and develop annual plans • Organize internal and external program audits • Monitor compliance through field inspections • Review incident reports and enforce corrective actions Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in Health and Safety or related field • 3-5 years experience in utility or related roles • CRSP Certification is an asset • Advanced knowledge of electrical utility safety rules • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Drive safety excellence in a dynamic environment by leading health and safety initiatives with expertise and commitment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
