Job Description
Position Details:
Home Base: Van Alstyne, TX
Pay Range: $1,750 – $3,500 per week (including travel bonus, commensurate with experience)
Housing Provided while on deployment
Travel Bonus Pay available for extended assignments - Year-round employment with opportunities for travel during storm season
Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, excavators, trucks, grinders, generators)
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on-site and in the shop
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime during operations
Ensure safety and compliance standards are met at all times
Support crews in the field during storm response and disaster recovery operations
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Class A CDL preferred
Ability and willingness to travel extensively on short notice
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
