Role Overview


True North International Pvt Ltd is hiring a Marketing Manager for their brand KILIG to own and drive all marketing activities across D2C, marketplaces, and quick-commerce channels. This role requires a hands-on marketer with a strong business mindset, capable of managing performance marketing, marketplace ads, influencer campaigns, and content - while intelligently allocating marketing budgets for maximum ROI.


The ideal candidate understands how marketing decisions impact sales velocity, contribution margins, CAC, ROAS, and inventory movement, especially in high-velocity quick-commerce environments.


Key Responsibilities


1. Performance & Paid Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across:
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram Ads)
  • Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
  • Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Display)
  • Continuously optimize ROAS, CAC, CTR, CVR, and AOV
  • Test creatives, audiences, offers, and landing pages to scale efficiently

2. Marketplace Marketing (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)

  • Own marketing execution on Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplaces
  • Manage Amazon Ads, promotions, deal events, and visibility campaigns
  • Work closely with category and operations teams to align:
  • Pricing and discounts
  • Inventory availability
  • Campaign calendars (sale events, brand days, etc.)
  • Understand marketplace algorithms, ranking factors, and listing optimization

3. Quick Commerce Marketing (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, etc.)

  • Drive brand and SKU visibility on quick-commerce platforms
  • Plan and execute on-app promotions, visibility spends, and ad placements
  • Coordinate with platform teams to improve:
  • Search visibility
  • Conversion rates
  • Repeat purchases
  • Optimize spends based on sell-through, margins, and contribution

4. Influencer & Content Marketing

  • Plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns aligned with brand goals
  • Manage creator sourcing, briefs, performance tracking, and ROI analysis
  • Oversee content creation for:
  • Ads and creatives
  • Product listings (A+ content, PDPs)
  • Social media and brand storytelling
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice across platforms

5. Budget Ownership & Business Alignment

  • Own and manage marketing budgets across D2C, marketplaces, and quick commerce
  • Allocate budgets based on:
  • Channel performance
  • Business priorities
  • Inventory and margin considerations
  • Work closely with finance and leadership on budget planning and tracking

6. Analytics, Reporting & Strategy

  • Build and track weekly and monthly MIS across channels
  • Analyze campaign and platform performance to drive decisions
  • Provide clear insights on what to scale, pause, or optimize
  • Support overall go-to-market and growth strategy for TNIPL brands

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in e-commerce / D2C / marketplace marketing
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, and marketplace promotions
  • Strong understanding of quick-commerce marketing dynamics
  • Proven experience managing online marketing budgets and ROI
  • Strong analytical and business understanding

Preferred

  • Experience with consumer brands or high-growth startups
  • Exposure to multi-brand or portfolio environments
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, Amazon Seller Central, and quick-commerce dashboards
