Physical Design Lead

I’m currently supporting an innovative semiconductor company looking for a Physical Design Lead to drive the physical implementation of complex SoCs / SiPs using advanced technology nodes.

This role will lead the full physical design flow from implementation through tapeout and post-silicon validation, working closely with IP providers, EDA vendors, and silicon/package partners to deliver high-performance chips for production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead physical implementation for complex SoC designs
• Coordinate across chip, package, and PCB design teams
• Collaborate with external IP, EDA, and silicon vendors
• Guide technical discussions on physical design flows, DFT, and tools
• Support project delivery, reporting, and decision-making

Key experience

• Proven track record of multiple SoC / SiP tapeouts to production
• Strong background in high-speed digital design
• Experience leading complex semiconductor design projects
• Exposure to chiplet or multi-die architectures is a plus
