Job Description
This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled Product Design Lead to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our Product Design Foundations team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our global design system.
You will drive the standardization of user-centered digital experiences at a global scale, leveraging your expertise in user experience, system and interaction design, accessibility, and Human-Centered Design methodologies.
Foster a user-centric design culture by adapting to evolving needs and championing design excellence within the broader Consumer Experience & Design organization.
Collaborate closely with product teams to shape scalable solutions that align with digital product objectives and long-term strategy, ensuring seamless experiences across our digital ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities:
Focus on Product Needs: Use feedback and research to shape designs that solve real problems and make work easier for our products.
Design Explorations on Human Centered Design: Create and refine rapid design prototypes to explore ideas, test with product teams, and optimize designs before development.
Improve Interaction and Usability: Design smooth UI patterns and UI components that help users get things done efficiently and help product maximize their Return-On-Investment.
Strive for Consistency and Scalability: Lead our Elements Design System Design strategy and execution to ensure a cohesive, intuitive, and seamless experience across all digital products.
Collaborate with cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life and ensure standards compliance and continuously refine Design System relevance.
Contribute to Community of Practice Growth: Elevate Sanofi Product Design Standards within operations through product design team training and mentoring.
Experience:
Proven Success in UX/UI for Complex Solutions: A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX/UI design for complex and heterogeneous digital products including Information Architecture, Interaction Design, UI workflows, and UI Kits.
Strategic Problem-Solving in Complex Systems: Experience navigating large global scale, interconnected ecosystems, balancing user needs with company business goals to create holistic and scalable systematized design solutions.
Leadership in UX/UI Design: Proven experience mentoring and guiding transversal design teams, setting design standards, and driving UX excellence across a wide digital products spectrum.
Leadership in Design System Management: Deep experience in designing systems and interaction patterns, crafting libraries, documentation, and guidelines tailored to complex environments.
Skills and Qualifications:
Mastery of Iterative Design and Agile: Deep understanding of Lean UX, Human-Centered Design, and Agile methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement, impactful design execution, and implementation.
Mastery of Figma and UX/UI Tools: Advanced skills in Figma for UI component industrialization and library governance, prototyping, and seamless collaboration with engineering teams.
Proven Adaptability in Fast Context-Shifting: Inspires and empowers product teams focusing on various ecosystems from Research & Development to Marketing, navigates complexity with clarity, and adapts to ambiguity with a problem-solving mindset.
Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ability to translate and evangelize complex concepts into clear design solutions, advocate for user needs, and collaborate effectively with leadership, product teams, and engineers.
