Brooklyn, United States | Posted on 08/27/2025 Weneed a Product Manager to help drive key services forward. TheClient Product Manager oversees select products for the Client programteam. TheProduct Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of new digitalapplications and services on client.

Theywill act as product manager for multi-disciplinary product teams throughthe product lifecycle and into continuous delivery and support. Theywill line manage, coach and mentor others in the team, including a ProductManagement Fellow. ThisProduct Manager will be entrusted to hold the City’s best interests firstand foremost when collaborating and working with system implementationvendors and thus will be expected to drive strategy for the Clientprogram, in consultation with the Associate Commissioner for ProductManagement.

Tasks Leadproduct strategy and definition by understanding and identifying productusers, framing the problem, and synthesizing research from all disciplinesand evaluating current state experiences Definesuccess outcomes and KPI based on user-driven metrics that prove value toNew Yorkers Understand,synthesize and write detailed requirements focused on filling the needs ofNew Yorkers Participatein the agile delivery of digital applications by multiple workstream teams Prioritizethe delivery of work backlogs from inception to delivery based on evidencefrom user research, analytics and stakeholder goals Participatein relevant team ceremonies across the program in line with agile bestpractices Communicatethe expected strategic outcomes and improve problem solving with the teams Coordinateand take part in user research regularly for all digital products you lead Manageexternal technology and delivery partners; work to get best value from ourdigital, data and technology partnerships Managethe product roadmap and other key product management deliverables,including creating and updating OKRs and KPIs, and establishing usefulreports to track them Bethe point person, work closely with stakeholders, understand the businessgoals, and be ready to present and provide status Requirements Mandatory Skills/Experience A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science,engineering, product design or related field Atleast 8 years of previous experience in software and web development 4+years proven success leading products from inception to launch intocontinuous improvement Excellentwriting skills combined with strong presentation and public speakingskills Excellentinterpersonal skills to effectively manage cross functional teams Abilityto work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstractideas into concrete features Asolid background in modern digital technology and trends Experiencein an Agile delivery environment Attentionto detail and excellent problem solving skills Beopen to receiving feedback and constructive criticism #J-18808-Ljbffr
