Job Description

Project Finance Manager with 5-8 years of expereince will be responsible for end-to-end debt financing of Solar, Wind, and Hybrid Renewable Energy projects under the company’s IPP business. The role encompasses structuring project finance transactions, leading lender negotiations, and managing financial close for greenfield and operational renewable energy assets. The candidate will work closely with internal project development, legal, and engineering teams, as well as external lenders, financial advisors, and rating agencies to secure optimal debt structures for utility-scale projects.


Project Finance & Debt Structuring

  • Lead end‑to‑end project finance transactions from mandate to financial close
  • Structure debt solutions including INR/FCY loans, senior secured debt, VGF, and scheme‑linked financing
  • Prepare Information Memorandums (IMs), financial models, and lender presentations
  • Negotiate facility agreements, security documents, and common loan agreements with lenders and legal counsel
  • Ensure compliance with CPs, disbursement conditions, covenants, DSRA, and post‑close reporting

Lender & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and manage relationships with PSU/private banks, NBFCs, DFIs (PFC, REC, IREDA, NaBFID), and multilateral institutions
  • Coordinate credit ratings with agencies (CRISIL, ICRA, CARE, India Ratings)
  • Manage lender consortiums, security trustees, and inter‑creditor arrangements
  • Liaise with DISCOMs, SECI, NTPC, regulators (CERC/SERC), and government authorities

Financial Modelling & Analysis

  • Build and review detailed project finance models (DSCR, IRR, NPV, sensitivities)
  • Optimise capital structures, repayment profiles, moratoriums, and interest strategies
  • Conduct financial due diligence on PPAs, EPC, O&M, insurance, and project economics
  • Prepare board notes and senior management presentations

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with development, legal, engineering, and regulatory teams
  • Support refinancing, acquisition financing, portfolio funding, and green bond / masala bond issuances
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously under tight timelines


Education: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA – Essential.

Preferred: Post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline from a reputed institution.
