RN Med Surg

HCA Healthcare, a pioneer in delivering premier healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier patient care in our medically complex and dynamic surgical units. As part of our nursing team, you will work alongside highly trained staff in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

This position requires a compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to improving patient lives through expert medical care. Manage patient care in a med surg setting, assessing conditions, administering medication, and monitoring recovery. Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment plans.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality and security of data. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and health maintenance. Participate in continuous education to improve skills and stay current with healthcare practices.

Supervise and guide lower-level nursing staff and support their professional development. Strong clinical skills in a med surg environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Proficiency in using healthcare software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS Certification ACLS Certification preferred
