Position: Sales Manager – Freight Forwarding
Experience: 3–5 Years
Locations: Ahmedabad, Baroda, Mumbai, Pune
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager from the freight forwarding/logistics industry to lead sales initiatives and drive business growth. The candidate should have strong industry knowledge, excellent sales skills, and the ability to manage and guide a sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for business growth.
2. Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Market Analysis:
Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry updates.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and trade practices.
Provide insights to improve sales strategies.
4. Sales Operations:
Ensure smooth execution of sales processes.
Manage sales forecasts, targets, and performance tracking.
Improve sales efficiency through process enhancements.
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales.
Strong understanding of logistics, international trade, and supply chain.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Own vehicle (Car/Bike) is mandatory.
Desired Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good presentation and proposal-writing skills.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
