We are looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Accounting Manager with a strong background in SaaS and demonstrated management experience to own the global accounting function and serve as a strategic leader within our dynamic Finance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving a best-in-class month-end close process, including full balance sheet reconciliations and foreign subsidiary consolidations for our teams in China and India. As a key leader, you will oversee global tax and regulatory compliance, lead year-end audits, and spearhead the optimization of our accounting systems (ERP, billing, and procurement). We are looking for a hands-on expert who can ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS while providing the financial insights and internal controls necessary to safeguard company assets and support our rapid growth.

Requirements Oversee the global accounting function including audit, tax, treasury, GL, and a best-in-class month-end close process with full balance sheet reconciliations, foreign subsidiary consolidations, cost allocations, and flux/budget variance analyses to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Manage and develop the global accounting team, including China and India, setting policy and providing guidance and support in their functions. Lead the year-end audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Ensure global tax and regulatory compliance over all local, state, and federal agencies including filing, remittance and reporting. Provide support with administrative matters including insurance and business filings. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies.

Select and drive accounting systems optimization in partnership with business systems administration for ERP, billing, collections, treasury management, procurement and expenses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives and drive process improvements. Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Ensure the Company complies with all current and future accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS as required). Required Skills/Abilities Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and an appreciation for excellence in accounting function and results. Extensive experience with NetSuite.

Education and Experience 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on SaaS companies. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA desired, but not required.

Experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and subscription contracts and billing is preferred. Familiarity with other accounting software including Bill.com, Avalara, Expensify, and close automation tools. Experience managing, filing and paying multi-state sales and use tax, corporate estimated income tax, state franchise tax, and local property tax.

Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency. For applicants located in California, the salary range for this full-time role is expected to be $130,000 - $140,000 per year. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
