Job Description

About Comply: We are a cutting-edge innovation hub established by ANSR in Kochi, Kerala, purpose-built to serve as Comply’s core growth engine, enabling the company to increase R&D investments sustainably to support their rapidly growing customer base. As part of Comply’s global team, our engineers work collaboratively with colleagues across North America and the UK to deliver a follow-the-sun model, supporting customers worldwide and improving technology around the clock. At Comply India, our engineers play a pivotal role in product development, gaining deep domain knowledge to build meaningful client-centric solutions.

As we harness AI and other emerging technologies to deliver greater value, our team is empowered to take ownership, lead innovations, and contribute directly to Comply’s continued growth and client success. If you value flexibility, innovation, and a growth mindset, this is the place to be. Senior Data Analyst (Data & Analytics) Data and Analytics at COMPLY COMPLY is the world’s leading aggregator of financial and regulatory data to support compliance.

Our mission is to help financial institutions meet their regulatory obligations with confidence, clarity, and speed. We ingest, process, and enrich vast volumes of complex, high-variance data from hundreds of brokers, data providers and other sources of information across the US and beyond. The scale, diversity, and importance of this data create unique technical challenges and opportunities.

The COMPLY Data Platform is a strategic initiative at the heart of this mission. It underpins everything from our broker feed ingestion and security master to advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and future regulatory technologies. We’re building something foundational, and we’re doing it with a modern, cloud-native architecture that’s designed to scale.

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team to help ensure the reliability, accuracy, and timeliness of this critical data. The Role: As a Senior Data Analyst on the DataOps team, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing COMPLY’s data products by acting as the primary interface between our data platform, internal stakeholders, and external data partners. This role is focused on data support, investigation, and delivery of data-centric projects, rather than the development of data pipelines themselves.

You will work closely with Data Engineering, Partnerships, and Customer-facing teams to ensure data issues are diagnosed accurately, resolved efficiently, and communicated clearly. This is not a passive reporting role. It is hands-on, fast-moving, and central to the reliability and credibility of COMPLY’s data products.

You will spend your time deep in data, responding to complex questions, identifying root causes, and contributing to improvements in data quality, tooling, and operational processes. Key Responsibilities: Data Support & Investigation: Act as a senior escalation point for complex data-related queries from internal teams (e.g. Customer Experience, Customer Support, Product).

Investigate data quality issues, discrepancies, and anomalies across broker feeds and downstream data products. Perform root-cause analysis on data issues and clearly document findings, impact, and recommended actions. Coordinate with Data Engineering to resolve issues that require pipeline or infrastructure changes.

Partner & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with the Partnerships team and external brokers to clarify data specifications, interpret feed changes, and troubleshoot data issues. Translate partner-provided technical documentation into actionable insights for internal teams. Communicate clearly and transparently with stakeholders about issue status, timelines, and resolutions.

Data Projects & Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to data-focused projects such as: Data quality audits and monitoring improvements Schema validation and reconciliation efforts Enhancements to data documentation and metadata Process improvements for data issue intake and triage Identify recurring operational issues and propose preventative or systemic solutions. Contribute to the design and refinement of internal tooling, dashboards, and workflows that improve DataOps efficiency. Operational Excellence & Mentorship: Help define and uphold standards for data support workflows, documentation, and escalation.

Mentor junior analysts, supporting their technical development and investigative approach. Promote a culture of precision, ownership, and continuous learning within the DataOps team. Essential Criteria: Background in financial services or familiarity with trading, securities, or regulatory data.

Experience in a data operations, data analyst, or data support role within an enterprise or SaaS environment. Strong SQL skills and experience working with large or complex datasets, and experience in scripts in a common language such as Powershell or Python. Familiarity with analytical data platforms and non-RDBMS systems (e.g.

Athena, Big Query, similar). Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data pipelines (without necessarily owning their implementation). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, particularly when dealing with incomplete, inconsistent, or messy data.

Confidence reading, interpreting, and reconciling both internal and external technical documentation. Familiarity with sFTP, APIs, and other common data transfer protocols. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.

Comfortable balancing deep technical investigation with stakeholder- and partner-facing interactions. Highly organised, with good judgment around prioritization and escalation. Desirable Criteria: Experience working alongside data engineering teams in a production data environment.

Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for analysis or light automation. Understanding of data quality frameworks, data governance, or metadata management. Experience supporting external customers or internal teams using data-driven SaaS products.

What We Offer A mission-driven role at the heart of COMPLY’s data reliability and customer trust. The opportunity to work on high-impact data problems that directly affect customers. Close collaboration with Data Engineering, Product, and Partnerships teams.

A supportive environment that values clarity, ownership, and continuous improvement. A rapidly scaling platform with strong opportunities for growth and progression.
