Position Type: 7 months assignment with possible extension Shift Schedule: 7:00 am-3:30 pm Pay Rate: $100/hr . on w2 -$120/hr. on W2 (no benefits)

Looking for a talented Design and Analysis Engineer to join a new program/new team in Albuquerque, NM. This role will focus on designing and testing advanced concepts for the Department of Defense. Our program is starting the path to a systems requirements review. The primary responsibility of this individual will be working with a multi-disciplined engineering team to decompose system level requirements to electronic subsystems/components. This position will serve as our lead Electronics Engineer for a team tasked with requirements definition, and design/development/test of new electronic hardware solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic design (analog and digital); high speed, low latency systems; firmware development, requirements tracking/verification; assembly and test of subsystems; integration of subsystems into the final system; and a passion for finding solutions to solve interesting problems. Position Responsibilities:
• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software, firmware and interface specifications.
• Develops test plans to validate system designs against operational and functional requirements.
• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Research specific technology advances potential application to company business needs.
• Work with suppliers for board/electronics hardware prototyping and manufacturing.
• Mentoring entry-level and mid-career engineers in electronic design best practices. Required Skills:
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• 3+ years of experience developing subsystem requirements
• 5+ years of experience researching, developing, or evaluating electrical, electronic, computer, software and/or firmware requirements
• 5+ years of experience with the design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems
• 5+ years of experience with analog and/or digital circuit design, packaging techniques, and/or power systems Preferred Skills:
• Experience with high speed, low latency electronic design
• Experience with firmware development
