Role Overview
We are hiring a UX/UI Design Intern to help enhance and scale our user-facing experiences across mobile and web platforms. You’ll work closely with product, clinical, and engineering teams to design clear, accessible, and emotionally intelligent interfaces.
The role involves both detailed UI design and contribution to broader user-facing elements — from interaction patterns to visual systems — with room for creative and technical ownership.
Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, layouts, and high-fidelity visuals for mobile and web platforms
- Build interactive prototypes to test product flows and interactions
- Contribute to the evolution of Kompanion’s design system
- Support usability testing with caregivers and older adults
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure implementation accuracy
- Assist in refining motion, micro-interactions, and visual polish as needed
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in UX/UI design through coursework, projects, or freelance work
- Proficiency in professional design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), and prototyping software such as Framer, Principle, or Protopie
- Understanding of front-end design principles and responsive UI
- Strong visual sensibility, typographic precision, and consistency in layout
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, from concept to delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, localization, and inclusive design
- Interest in AI-driven products or interfaces informed by behavioral science
- French language skills
